"If gravitas is eight letters, they're about seven letters short"

"CABLE GUYS LUST FOR TIM'S JOB" from NY Post's Page Six reports that alleged insiders report that Chris Matthews has jockeyed for the "Meet The Press" moderator spot left vacant by the untimely passing of Tim Russert.  In addition, Keith Olbermann was reported to be threatening to quit if he doesn't get the slot.  To complicate matters more, Russert allegedly was thought to want Chuck Todd to replace him down the road.

For this Sunday, "Nightly News" Brian Willams is filling in - and there are denials that any of the above is true - especially since the liberal biases of the MSNBC are fairly blatant.

As one source said succinctly as to their chances:

"If gravitas is eight letters, they're about seven letters short"

Olbermann's Denial on Countdown in which he says he's not qualified for the job - AGREED!
