    Senate Wants Petraeus, Crocker To Make Decisions And Answer Questions They And The White House Should Be Making

    "Gen. Petraeus' Testimony to the Senate Armed Services Comm." by General David Petraeus is the transcript of the highly anticipated testimony of General David Petraeus to the Armed Services Committee - and then later to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

    While General Petraeus, as before, gave a very substantial and detailed report on the current situation in Iraq, the senators seemed to use the situation for grandstanding, talking to both General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker about decisions that they were not responsible for - but in fact that the Senate and the White House had ultimate jurisdiction over.
