Wen Blames Dalai Lama, Riots of 'Sabotaging Olympics'

"China blames the Dalai Lama for riots" from BBC News reports that China's Premier Wen Jiabao blames the Dalai Lama, the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize winner, for instigating the riots that have taken place in Tibet's capital of Lhasa.  China claims 13 have been killed, while others say it has been 80.

    UPDATE:

Dalai Lama to resign if violence continues from AP

Speaking on the last day of parliament, Mr Wen said the exiled Tibetan leader's claim of "cultural genocide" in Tibet was nothing but lies.

Mr Wen said the protests were intended to "sabotage" the Beijing Olympics.
