    John Bolton With Laura Ingraham

Laura Ingraham hosted Ambassador John Bolton.

Bolton said that the media is using the fact that 4,000 deaths has been used by the media to question the surge.  He said that as pressure is put on terrorists and insurgents, they fight back harder and harder.  Ingraham and Bolton noted that, despite the mainstream media's coverage, that in fact, according to the Weekly Standard and Wall Street Journal, Saddam Hussein did have terrorist links.  Bolton said that VP Cheney has told Iraqi leaders that they need to get their act together sooner rather than later.

Bolton said that Speaker Pelosi is tough on China - and that this hasn't been the first protest in Tibe - and that it isn't based on the Olympics - but on ethnic cleansing of their own.  Bolton said that boycotting the opening ceremonies would be a good symbolic move.  He said he was surprised that Bush was softer on his Chinese position on the Olympics.

Bolton is a strong supporter of Senator McCain for president as it is a critical time for national security.
