Laura Ingraham hosted Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.
Jindal said it is so important to pay attention to the culture - and that the "family hour" is hardly that - but a place to cross boundaries. Ingraham complimented Jindal on a piece in the New York Times in which he is praised for cleaning up corruption in Louisiana. He said his administration is putting all spending data online so the public knows where their tax dollars are going. He said he is focused on running Louisiana at this time and not in seeking higher office as he has a lot to do in cleaning up the state.
Jindal said that he got heavy attack from Democrats in Louisiana for being a Christian - but taht politicians have to develop a thick skin and have trust in the voters - and that they don't want to hear whining.
Jindal said this is the best job he has ever had as it involves helping people and then getting government out of the way so they can lead their lives freely.
