Laura Ingraham appeared on Fox News' "The Factor" sans Bill O'Reilly who called in from an undisclosed location to comment on the death of Benazir Bhutto. It is rather surprising that Ingraham hasn't been called in sooner, given the highly charged political coverage with the front loaded caucus/primary schedule - one has to believe that the TV icons and Body Language Lady and reruns could be replaced with some astute political commentary, given the upcoming events.
Ingraham capably moved from Senator John McCain, giving him a longer, more extensive questioning than most of the other coverage had. She grilled a spokerperson from Stratfor, a private intel firm, K.T. MacFarland, Gail Sheehy who has written one of the last pieces interviewing Bhutto and an editor from Islamica Magazine.
Hopefully Fox will continue to put in capable subs for O'Reilly to keep the show fresh and up to date in the future - and as Ingraham would say, be ahead of the curve.
