Laura Ingraham hosted George Will of the Washington Post and ABC News.
Will said Huckabee won't answer straight on about whether Romney is a Christian isn't sufficient, no matter how much he dances around the issue. Will said Romney's religion speech was good, but it was more appropriate as a Kennedy speech from one of the world's largest religions and was very specific in his answer. The Mormon faith is followed by only 2% of the nation and appears to be outside the mainstream to some. Will said that the anxious piety of the politics is a regression. Ingraham said that the American people are sick of the elites telling them what to think. Will said that he thinks that Giuliani was probably prepared for the grilling on all his scandals and he has gone through the gauntlet on a weekend when Obama was the big news. Will does think that the Clintons have more dirt on Giuliani.
