Media: Hillary Damsel Act Be Damned!
Senator Hillary Clinton has been getting the media and political opprobrium for her damsel in distress routine following Tim Russert and Chris Dodd pinning her down in the MSNBC Democratic Debate on October 30th.
She capped that with a whiny visit to Wellesley, where it all started for her and was complemented with "The Politics of Pile On" ad.
"The Clinton Gospel - Thou Shalt Not Criticize Hillary Clinton" from the Boston Globe by Scot Lehigh - hardly a GOP rag - knocking her brittle reaction to being challenged as if she were an absolute monarch.
"Hillary's choice: Be a bully or delicate flower" by Gerard Baker of the Times of London compares her to Margaret Thatcher and Elizabeth I - clearly Hillary would be wanting taking on the apparatchniks of the old Soviet Kremlin - and the brutal intrigues in Elizabeth's court. Baker is optimistic about the GOP's chances, given the more conservative nature of the US electorate and its three legged stool of social values, fiscal responsibility and strong national defense.
"Hillary at Wellesley: Still babbling after all these years" by Michelle Malkin zeroes in on her alma mater visit where she stoutly spouted faux feminist flactulence about taking on those bad, bad boys.
This is but a smattering of the gal in distress coverage - then there are all the articles about her evasiveness, honesty and campaign finance concerns...
