"Briton convicted in Sudan blasphemy case" from the AP reports that Gillian Gibbons, who was convicted of insulting Islam by allowing children in her class to call a teddy bear "Muhammed", will face 15 days in jail and will be deported. She could have faced receiving 40 lashes - a barbaric punishment.
