Laura Ingraham hosted Byron York from National Review.
York noted that the Cornyn amendment about the MoveOn.org passed handily and said that the fact that Senator Clinton voted against the amendment and that probably helped her with the far left. He also noted how Senator Obama weaseled out of the vote. York said the Democrats noted MoveOn.org's money power during the 2004 election when they raised money quickly.
York said that James Dobson of Focus on the Family's comments on Fred Thompson aren't surprising, considering that he questioned his faith earlier. York and Ingraham said that the fact that Thompson moving up in the polls show the disconnect between Washington and the rest of the country.
York said that Giuliani is talking to the NRA today and that will be a big hurdle with conservative voters. York said that he is strong in many areas, especially in the debates. York said that the fact that Dubai is buying up NASDAQ isn't surprising and it is worrisome short term but he isn't long term.
