Treasonous Columbia Welcomes "Tehrants", Bars ROTC, Minuteman Project

"Columbia University: Ahmadinejad Yes, ROTC No" by Bill Kristol, Weekly Standard points out the hypocrisy of Columbia University opening its doors to Iranian President Ahmadinejad - who has actively worked against the US during the Iran hostage crisis right up through his presidency where US troops have been mortally affected by Iran's action - but closes its doors to the ROTC program.  Kristol notes that that as Columbia President Bollinger says he will make serious charges against Ahmadinejad to respond to  - this is in effect, making Bollinger a straight man to Ahmadinejad's star turn - serving up soft balls for Ahmadinejad to bash all over.

Meanwhile the NY Post notes the founder of the Minuteman Project, Jim Gilchrist's appearance was scrapped on October 4th - after the violence by Columbia students occurred at the last Minuteman presentation at the university.

Columbia is either terribly treasonous or terribly naive - or both.
