Digital Outreach Team States Its Case To Muslim World

"At State, Blog Team Joins Muslim Debate" from NY Times reports on the State Departments Digital Outreach Team that visits Muslim forums and websites to do some digital hearts and minds advocacy for the United States.  The project began in November with two Arabic speakers and more are being added, including speakers of Farsi and Urdu.

They tend to visit mainstream sites rather than the rabid jihadist sites to win over swing constituents - although they know of the jihadists' offerings.
