    AQI's Self-Immolation Strategy?

"Al-Qaeda's War Of Villages" by Omar at Iraq The Model reports on al-Qaeda's latest venomous activities - violating peaceful remote villages, burning property and slaughtering man and beast.  Villages and towns

that al-Qaeda had claimed as their own and lost are now being slashed and burned with their latest strategy to garner headlines with their viciousness.

Omar feels that an alarm system that could alert the nation as to where al-Qaeda is about to strike - and then deploy ASAP the forces needed would be the rapid response to al-Qaeda's guerilla warfare.  It would be like the silent alarms here in the US.  Omar suggests that al-Qaeda would probably take out a village - but then would be exposed - and with the US air power, could be wiped out.  Omar notes y very far from cities and thus are very vulnerable - but so is al-Qaeda in this case.

Omar notes that the enemy should pay the heaviest price - like this should ever be a matter of debate - of course they should.

With speed, skill and guile, it could be game over for these vermin
