"Thuggery by the Bay: The Faith Based Thugs of Your Black Muslim Bakery" by Christopher Hitchens reports on the outrageous murder of Chauncey Bailey of the black Oakland Post - who had been reporting on Your Black Muslim Bakery founded by Yusuf Bey in Oakland, California. The elder Bey who had a long rap sheet passed away - but his progeny carried on in like manner - and the YBMB had lots of financial problems - and connections to Louis Farrakhan and his group, the Nation of Islam. The YBMB got plaudits from Mayor Ron Dellums and Congresswoman Barbara Lee - and with the threats to another reporter, Stephen Buel and his East Side Express who tried to expose this operation - it is clear that the cops and other law enforcement would have enjoyed no support - and indeed, would have had their lives threatened if they had exposed these criminals.
As Hitchens correctly points out - this sort of freelance Sharia law of the jungle could be coming to your neighborhood - and needs to be stopped now.
