    Ron Paul, Voice In The Desert?

    "The GOP, Ron Paul & Non-Interventionism" discusses the upstart presidential candidacy of Representative Ron Paul of Texas - and Internet star and whose loyal followers are frequent callers into C-Span programs such as Washington Journal.  The author, Gregory Scoblete, notes that while Goldwater was the precursor to the Reagan revolution, Paul may be the precursor to a non-interventionist turn to the GOP in the future - forced by the triple threats of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, the US will be forced to back off from its many foreign commitments - and gross earmark spending in the United States.

    How long this will take and when and if it will is the question - but Paul has raised provocative questions for both parties to consider...
