The AP reports that Karl Rove will be leaving the White House at the end of August - the latest adviser to part from the president's staff. He has been credited as the "architect" of the presidents two victories, although the GOP lost the houses of Congress in 2006 - and his name continually arises as a subject of investigation by the Democratic Congress.
Speculation is sure to arise about Rove being wooed by a campaign - although there is also thoughts that he will write a book about his years with Bush which should garner him a good sum.
