Blast From The Clinton Past: Old Soft $$$ Hsu
Articles in the Los Angeles Times and Wall Street Journal pull back the curtain on an unlikely - but redolent of past Clinton money men, familiar bundler - namely one Norman Hsu who has raised thousands of dollars for many Democrats and who has an agreement to serve up to three years in prison after pleading no contest to grand theft swindling charges.
Hillary Clinton will have trouble finessing this one - given the statements of her chief aide, Howard Wolfson, said that Hsu has been a generous donor and "We have no reason to call his contributions into question or to return them".
This is a reminder to voters in general and the Democrats in particular why there is unease about a potential Clinton presidency - the constant sleazy back story. It brings up other unorthodox, to put it kindly, fundraising efforts and gifts from such crooks as Marc Rich who got a pardon at the midnight hour of President Clinton's presidency (and perhaps a reason for Hsu's vigorous efforts).

The GOP don't deserve to win if they don't pound this issue - and link it to the William Jefferson scandal, etc..
