The AP reports that Senator Obama overstated the death toll by the tornado in Greenburg, Kansas, saying 10,000 died rather than the 12 thus far. He later clarified his remarks, blaming the mistake on campaign fatigue... the remarks were made at a fundraiser in Richmond, Virginia...
There were, in fact, around 1,400 residents of the small town - but perhaps this can get them some more federal aid... some real Democratic strategery
