Muslims Integrated In US, With Some Serious Caveats

BBC News says a Pew survey reveals that US Muslims are well integrated and that in general their profile in terms of income and education mirrors that of other Americans - making them better integrated than Muslims in countries in Western Europe, according to the "Muslims Americans: Middle Class and Mostly Mainstream" report.

However, a portion of younger Muslims are sympathetic to suicide bombers and a larger portion of Muslims of all ages felt singled out.  Fewer than half of Muslim Americans thought that the September 11th attacks were carried out by Arab men - which is consistent with Muslims in other countries.

"A Hair-Raising Threat" from the NY Post highlights the disturbing aspects of this survey.

"This Tiny Lunatic Fringe Is a Big Threat" by Michelle Malkin underlines the threat as well...

She also takes on AP headline morphing on this story...
