Will Producers, Consumers, Sponsors Rap The Rappers?

"Imus vs. the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks" by Michelle Malkin discusses the top lowlights of Billboard's top rap efforts, replete with lyrics and audio/video links (warning of objectionable content).  Malkin strongly makes the point that while Don Imus comments on the Rutgers University basketball team are inexcusable, the disgraceful and demeaning outpouring of vile venom from these rap artists makes Imus comments a blip on the radar.

Will the producers, consumers and sponsors of this garbage turn it off - or will they instead use Imus as a proxy for their phony outrage over this incident?  Will they trash talk trash talking rappers?
