Obama & Clinton Triangulate Hollywood $$$ And Rap Moral Outcry

Chuck Todd's "The Imus Primary" comments on how Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have played the Imus scandal for their political purposes, noting that they were a little slow off the mark - with Clinton ahead of Obama in responding.  Apparently both don't want to be tagged as merely a woman running as president, in the case of Clinton, but a president who happens to be a woman - or Obama as a black man running for president but rather a president who happens to be black.

Both also hope to grab entertainment money - which is heavily invested in that inconvenient "artistic" community that pushes the envelopes.  Obama was earlier embracing Ludicris - and no doubt both will have to tiptoe around the powerful media empires that have raked in so much for the phonies who were cawing about their "corporate brands".

Michelle Malkin in her post "Barry brings up the rear" goes into this in depth - and this will be a tough conundrum for them to triangulate in the primaries and later the national campaign, should they get nominated.
