Laura Ingraham hosted Kate O'Beirne of National Review.
O'Beirne said that she doubts there will be a dent in the culture of sexism, racism, etc. in pop culture over the Don Imus scandal.
O'Beirne said that she is amazed that Senator Clinton hasn't outdistanced Senator Obama more. O'Beirne said that Obama is a much more appealing personality than Clinton. O'Beirne said that she thinks that former Senator Fred Thompson will enter the race. O'Beirne said he has a conservative voting record, but supported McCain-Feingold which many conservatives didn't approve of. O'Beirne said that Romney has a lot of talent but hasn't caught on nationally - but has caught on in the key early states. She said he had a rocky introduction and has had a reputation as a flip-flopper.
O'Beirne says that the Justice Department deserves better than Alberto Gonzales as AG. Ingraham noted that Gonzales was a potential nominee for the Supreme Court. She thinks that department needs to get back to its important work.
