"Obama v. Clinton: showdown in the pulpits" from the UK Telegraph notes the rousing political presences of political preachers Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in Selma, Alabama over the weekend - replete with the renaissance or rediscovery of Clinton's adopted twang as she mimicked Obama's ministerial intonations. Beyond the banality and cynicism of Clinton's performance, where is the outrage over this obvious mix of church and state? If this were a Catholic congregation and not a Democratic event, the ACLU would be out in force...
"Pandering in Selma" has more less than religious truthiness...
I'd like to know where the outrage over her phony accent is. All the pundits say she gave a good speech. If that was George Allen or Al D'Amato they would be slammed for mocking Blacks. Liberal press!!
