The AP reports that presidential candidate John Edwards is taking heat over his lavish Orange County, North Carolina home, given his self-proclaimed reputation as the poverty candidate.
The home is 28,000 square feet on 102 acres with no trespassing signs - don't want any of the riffraff bothering the Edwards. It is clear which of the two Americas that Edwards lives in - what a phony! He would be better off preaching about entrepreneurship rather than his false image of representing the interests of the poor. He also must have taken a huge lump of the payments of his trial lawyer cases.
Among its amenities, in the biggest monster mansion in the county:
"A main home has five bedrooms and six-and-a-half baths. It's connected by a covered walkway to a bright red addition known as "The Barn," that includes its own living facilities along with a handball court, an indoor pool and an indoor basketball court with a stage at one end. Nearby, the family has cleared space for a soccer field. "
Congratulations on being one of the founding members of the "Edwards is a Phony" media lie, being peddled by the same people who brought us "Gore is a liar" and the Bush administration. Your participation will be duly noted.
