Allen Colmes, at the end of Wednesday's "Hannity & Colmes" hour, commented how it was not proper that US Cuban residents were planning big celebrations over the death of Fidel Castro - although they were to be scaled back.
Colmes seems to be following the Saddam hanging storyline in which the greater crime is the disrespect for despots rather than the heinous crimes they committed during their lives. Would Colmes have been upset over Jews celebrating the death of Hitler or Stalin?
This misplaced sympathy is ridiculous and an insult to the victims. Call it a Cuban Irish wake if it is more palatable, but this sympathy for tyrants is out of line.
