Anatomy Of "The Ideological Animal" From PsychoBabble Today

Psychology Today has a puff piece of psychobabble entitled "The Ideological Animal" which seeks to reduce political beliefs and ideology to an emotional, almost brainwashing situation - devoid of reason - especially as it pertains to the conservative train of thought.

The research has come under fire due to the left leaning propensities of its authors and funding sources.  Regardless of that, the piece sounds like something out of People Magazine rather than scientific research of any rigor.
