Did Christians Riot When Pope John Paul II Was Shot By A Turk?

Michelle Malkin reports in her post "I Support the Pope" on the various radical Islamic plots and schemes to assassinate the late Pope John Paul II and now Pope Benedict XVI during this phony outrage running through the Muslim world.  How many Christians rioted during the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II by a Turk?  Did we try to go after Turks?  And who went to visit his assassin - Pope John Paul II.

The latest best-selling novel in Turkey is "Papa’ya suikast (”Attack on the Pope”) about an attempt on the life of Pope Benedict in Istanbul.  Will he go to Turkey in November?
