    Bolton, the UN-Annan

    Michelle Malkin at her latest Hot Air Vent on the renomination of US UN Ambassador John Bolton.  He received a recess appointment and now is up for confirmation before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.  Malkin runs through Bolton's achievements rumbling with nation states as well as interventions in such trouble spots as Darfur - and his refusal to mire himself in the rarified do-nothing ambience and court games of the the United Nations.  He actually puts America's interests first as an American representative within the context of global concerns instead of vice-versa - and is the anti-Kofi Annan.  Sounds like a great recommendation for confirmation...
