Why Don't the Feds Really Throw the Book At American Taliban John Walker Lindh - At Joe Arpaio's Tent City?

Michelle Malkin gives readers a peek at the coddled confinement of American Taliban John Walker Lindh.  The excerpt, courtesy of the pansies at Esquire, reports that poor little Johnny is assigned library duty where he reads and studies so much that others try to compel him to stop.  He only gets common fare as the prison tries to accomodate his "special" dietary needs.  He can't speak Arabic, but can read it - and - pshaw - may be losing his fluency.

Why doesn't someone really throw the book at him - and send him to Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Tent City in Arizona in a chain gang labor force?
