Administration Takes Leaks As Seriously As Border Control: Not Very

Michelle Malkin has the letter from Secretary of the Treasury John Snow to NY Times editor Bill Keller rebutting his assertions about justifying printing information about the terror financial tracking program.

This squishy letter and rhetoric from the administration gives evidence that they are about as effective in containing leaks as they are in controlling our borders - and about as serious - and makes one wonder how serious they are about the war on terror if the leaks in the borders and from the government flow so easily.

The White House has had a parade of leaks and done - not much but blather about how disgraceful it all is.  Why not do something?  No wonder no one takes it seriously.   Essentially this reinforces a tepid, not muscular response - especially when it involves the homeland.
