    Outside the Beltway Helps Russert in the Beltway With Supply-Demand

    Steve Verdon at "Outside the Beltway" helps Tim Russert of "Meet the Press" who seemed to be having trouble with basic supply and demand concepts as he pressed Secretary of Energy Bodman about oil company profits in the face of soaring demand.  The post is replete with diagrams and explanations to amplify the response - and to let listeners know that they weren't the only ones who were confused by Russert's query...

    I wondered about that question and I assumed he misspoke, although he never realized it later as one sometimes does. I can't believe Tim doesn't know better.
