    It's An Un-Lovely Day In The Neighborhood: Iran Arms Al-Qaeda in Iraq

    Omar at Iraq the Model reports - surprise, surprise - that Iran is supplying Zarqawi's al-Qaeda in Iraq with anti-aircraft weapons, according to Azzaman, a leading Iraqi newspaper.  And another non-surprise, Hizbollah of Lebanon played the role of mediator - how kind of them to volunteer!

    And of course, there were a number of willing enablers in southern Iraq to help the process along.

    The post contains details of the translated report - but clearly Iraq has its own border problems, facilitated by some willing insiders.

    Some very unlovely days in the neighborhood, for sure...
