Is Abdul Rahman's Life Worth Less Attention Than the Cartoon Uproar?

Michelle Malkin at her blog asks the question: Who Will Save Abdul Rahman? He is the former Muslim who converted to Christianity and via a custory suit has been found out and threatened with death in Afghanistan and to be "cut into little pieces" for turning his back on Islam - according to a twisted interpretation of Sharia law.  Michelle notes the lame response to this man's plight by the White House and the White House press corps, by our State Department and Christian groups in general.

Is this man's life worth less protest than the Prophet cartoon protests?

Perhaps a word from the Vatican and Pope Benedict XVI is in order.

We all need to get involved - we didn't pour blood and treasure into these conflicts to see our values and beliefs besmirched nor the culture of life dismissed.
