    Ground Zero Ground Down Rather Than Uplifted


    "The
    Desecration of Ground Zero
    " by Michelle Malkin, describes some of the
    political shenanigans co-opting the commerative and respectful honoring of the
    persons lost during this horrific event.


    Rather than naming the site something that is instantly identifiable with this
    historic event, the new site name is the International Freedom Center (IFC).
    Why the September 11th Monument Center would not do is a mystery. And are there
    not enough heroic acts that took place on that day that the emphasis should
    be placed on other historic events and personages? It would seem that America's
    response to the tragedy and comeback of the republic would be worthy of merit
    as well as the spread of freedom abroad over tyranny.


    It appears that the new site will be an unfocused theme park with little relation
    to the events and impact of September 11th by a bevy of elite crapmeisters with
    tin ears, big money and agendas.
