Isik-off Isik-On
Matt Drudge reports that Newsweek
reporter Michael Ishikoff's resignation will not be accepted by Newsweek.
According to some, he is personally responsible for rioting and deaths by those
who would rather side with radical Islamic extremists adults who actually committed
the deeds than their own countrymen when assigning responsibility for rioting
and death - which is as dishonest as the reporting they are beefing about. The
constant discussion in the news is helping to legitimize the Islamist radical
beefs. Are radical Islamic extremists responsible for anything or are they poor,
deprived, mindless people who are at the mercy of the MSM?
Newsweek is guilty of bad reporting and putting the military in a bad light
- allegedly from information from a government source.
In no way did Newsweek or Mr. Isikoff incite any rioting or deaths - there
would have been a nuclear conflagration by now if all news squibs like this
resulted in rioting and death to one's countrymen.
Did the 9/11 families or those of the beheaded Americans incite riots in the
streets here or abroad? How many Muslims have been killed in this country as
a result of 9/11 by fellow citizens?
This is being used as an opportunity to bash the MSM and accuse them of murder
- which shows how dishonest and desperate some are to make points off the MSM
and fellow citizens over radical Islamists. They are in league with the same
reporting they deplore.
Scargorough says he is a good reporter and, while he made a serious mistake, he should not have to resign over it. However, I agree with Pat Buchanan. When you have news like this, even if it were true, and you know what it will do to us and our soldiers in the world and the field, you don't report it. This was a grevious un-American thing for Newsweek to do!
