Malkin's take on Jack Abramoff, the sugar daddy to Rep. Tom DeLay, also favors
Dems Bennie Thompson and James Clyburn. Mr. Abramoff seems to have a knack for
finding those public servants who can employ the Bernie Ebbers cop out of lack
of awareness - probably soon to be in the American Psychiatric Handbook as a
handicapping condition of some sort and no doubt a Newsweek or Time cover condition,
taking time and attention from bonafide problems of children and adults with
real problems and no resources. It should not be long before exposure of Congress
members who intimidate staffers, hang up telephones and are brusque and blunt
emerge to ease Mr. Bolton's passage to the UN.
What are the Sunday shows to talk about now - Social Security, Iraq, North
Korea, Iran - real nuclear threats? Or perhaps Paula Abdul will leave "American
Idol" and launch a political career based on her positive messages about
America and her extensive experiences as a judge.
