in the week on the filibuster forced the Senate to step back from the precipice
and into it. Citing the need for more info on Mr. Bolton - perhaps in an attempt
to find some more tidbits to zap his UN ambassador nomination before having
to commit to a vote, the Dems demured they need a super-informed decision and
the White House doesn't seem ready to pass out the poison pills. Senator Reid
hastened to cover the tail of the Majority Leader at the White House expense,
showing he has mastered the triangulation game. Senator Frist-to-Last made some
perfunctory remarks on votes for judicial candidates and Bolton as we get a
break from this to contemplate the contributions of real American heroes on
this Memorial Day weekend.
