Seems a jock took some zzzz in science class and his teacher lowered his grade.
The teacher was fired, natch! The Board of Education, asleep at the wheel, okayed
this no-brainer 4-1 - apparently they work out with the dumbbells too much themselves.
Don't be looking for any Westinghouse or Nobel prizes from Gwinnett County Schools
any time soon - tho thankfully the students are sticking up for the teacher,
so there is hope.

Sorry, but this teacher has to go. He is in violation of a perfectly reasonable district policy -- one that says that a grade cannot be lowered as a disciplinary measure unless the offense is one of academic dishonesty. Rather than comply, the teacher was insublordinate and was properly fired. The fact that the student in question is an athlete is not even relevant.
